If you have any interest in the cause of our consumerism, I implore you to go watch  #thelastforest film  about the Yonomami tribe, who are one of many of the indigenous peoples of Brazil some of whom have travelled all this way to a city build on the backs, no, the lives of those very people and their ancestors before them.  *for clarity when I say 'we', 'our', 'us' I am talking as a collective people, largely of the consumerism & capitalism peoples of the richest nations. when I say 'they, them or 'their' i mean the indigenous peoples. The placebo effect - How much damage has fear mongering by the media done? Here we are going to ask if   the way the media has portrayed Covid-19 could be having larger negative effect on those whom tested positive for Covid and subsequently made the illness through fear mindset worse resulting in higher hospital admissions and possibly even deaths.  before we get into my theory, lets do a quick review of from Dec 2019 - Jan 2021: Dec 2019 - Reports started filtering out of China of a new virus that had managed to jump from a bat to humans, similar to the SARs virus of 2002.   Jan 2020 - Reports leaked out of China, WHO declared Covid-19  a worldwide pandemic and could be another and the Chinese government's actions as far as we were shown was hide what was going on and eventually locked down Wuhan on 23/1/2020, they set about building hospitals in days and put all its citizens under house arrest.  Feb 2020 - The world watched on, whilst governments (i...

Using these platforms to gain views and build a fan base before Covid-19 restrictions may have been okay, whilst artists could still tour and sell merch, but now they can't, the ...

Is the UK heading towards a Dictatorship? What exactly are we blindly walking into? Three police officers wearing face masks question a man sitting on a bench in St James's Park in central London   CREDIT:  BEN CAWTHRA/LONDON NEWS PICTURES This year is like no other in global history, an event felt worldwide and without prejudice provoking a grand scale event never ever seen in the course of history, many economies crashed, the poor rich divide grew greater & as a result healthily people are being locked away and restricted from seeing family and friends in the ways that we are meant to connect as social beings; as a social species.  Now we're all living in a land of almost total confusion, mixed advice from governments, with growing divided between rich & poor and we are at risk of creating segregated factions in societies with the shear amount of fear surrounding our current situations.  So how bad is it really? The stats being given out regarding covid-19 ...
